Job summary

Bay Harbor Senior Living of La Crescent is seeking a Dietary Aide to support residents with nutritious meals in a warm, team‑oriented environment. The role includes following sanitation and safety standards, preparing hot and cold foods, and delivering friendly service during dining hours.

Full‑time shifts rotate between early and late day hours (6:00 AM–2:00 PM and 11:00 AM–7:00 PM) with every other weekend required; prior kitchen or dietary aide experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Must pass a background check.
• Previous kitchen or dietary aid experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow and maintain sanitation and safety standards for food preparation, storage, equipment, and kitchen areas.
• Prepare hot and cold foods safely and on time for meal service, following standardized recipes.
• Clean tables, equipment, and work areas, maintaining a sanitary kitchen environment.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and report malfunctioning equipment or unsafe conditions.
• Communicate effectively with the lead cook to ensure daily tasks and needs are met.
• Provide timely, pleasant, and professional service during resident dining.
