Job summary

Lyonsview Health and Rehabilitation Center in Knoxville, Tennessee is hiring a Dietary Aide to join our Food Services team. You will assist kitchen staff in meal preparation, serve nutritious meals to residents, and follow dietary restrictions according to each care plan.

This full-time role offers flexible AM or evening shifts, opportunities to grow in long-term care, and a supportive team focused on dignity and quality meals for residents.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service, healthcare or hospitality is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Passion to work with diverse aging population
• Willingness to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing, serving, and delivering meals and snacks to residents according to diet orders
• Set up meal trays, dining rooms, and food carts
• Ensure meals are served at proper temperatures and timely
• Provide assistant to residents during meal times as needed
• Wash dishes, utensils, and food service equipment
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas
• Follow infection control procedures and maintain a safe working environment
• Stock supplies, label food items, rotate inventory to ensure freshness and compliance with regulations

Lyonsview Health and Rehabilitation Center is hiring for a passionateDietary Aide to join our Food Services team in Knoxville, Tennessee. Asa Dietary Aide, you will assist the kitchen staff in meal preparation, serving the nutritional meal to our residents, while following the residents' food restrictions according to their care plan.

Dietary Aide Requirements
