Job summary

Apex Rehabilitation & Healthcare in New York, NY is seeking a qualified Dietary Aide to support meals for residents in a clean, safe dining environment.

You will set up dining areas, assist with meal prep and service, deliver trays, clear tables, and help with inventory under the guidance of a dietary manager. Work schedule: every other weekend and weekdays 4:30pm–7:30pm.

Qualifications

• Prior food service experience preferred.
• Must have hospitality and cheerful disposition.
• Able to work evenings and weekends.

Job description

We are seeking a qualified Dietary Aides to deliver exceptional food services to our residents. You will ensure that meals are prepared and served in a clean and safe environment, adhering to all safety and health standards. Every other weekend and week days 4:30pm-7:30pm.

Responsibilities

• Set up tables or other dining areas with attention to cleanliness and order
• Prepare meals under the supervision of a dietary manager or cook
• Deliver dishes and trays at designated times and rooms
• Take down dining areas and collect plates, glasses, etc.
• Discard leftovers and take out garbage
• Clean food stations and wash dishes, cooking vessels, and silverware
• Stock ingredients and monitor inventory

Deliver food trucks to nursing units.

Must have hospitality and cheerful.
