River Park Hospital is looking for a FT Dietary Assistant.
Job Purpose:
The Dietary Assistant is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing eating and serving utensils, patient food carts, pushcarts, and the dish room, including the inside and outside of the dishwasher. They replenish condiments and dairy products in the patient tray line area and cafeteria, assist with sanitation assignments, support the Lead Cook, deliver patient food carts and trays, and handle trash removal duties.
Requirements:
Experience: Two years' experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
Reports to the Manager of Dietary Services or designee. Interacts with nursing staff, department staff, vendors, and support staff.
