Hanover Hall Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Hanover, PA is seeking a Dietary Aide to support residents with nutritious meals and a clean, welcoming dining environment. This part-time role offers flexible hours with evenings and every other weekend and holidays required; pay is negotiable based on experience.

You will assist with meal prep, deliver trays, sanitize work areas, and work closely with cooks and nursing staff to meet residents' needs.

Qualifications

• Previous dietary, food service, or healthcare experience appreciated but not required.
• Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills.
• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Dependable and willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and every other weekend.
• Compassionate and respectful approach when interacting with residents.

Responsibilities

• Serve meals promptly and efficiently to ensure a positive dining experience.
• Sanitize worktables, equipment, and storage areas to maintain kitchen cleanliness.
• Assist with meal preparation and support the Cook as needed.
• Deliver food trays to dining areas and assist with dishwashing after meals.
• Follow established dietary policies, food safety, and sanitation procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming dining environment.
• Work cooperatively with dietary and nursing staff to meet residents' needs.
