Job summary

HHS is seeking friendly, compassionate staff to join the dietary team at Sumner Regional Medical Center. As a Patient Ambassador, you will assist patients with menu selections and deliver meals promptly, ensuring excellent service and safety compliance. This role offers both full-time and part-time hours with day, evening, and night shifts available.

Requirements include being 18+, maintaining hygiene, and strong English communication. Culinary experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must practice good personal hygiene and be neatly groomed in a uniform.
• Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment.
• Preferred: Culinary experience (cook, commercial kitchen, fast food, hotel operations, healthcare).

Responsibilities

• Ensure each patient receives an accurate meal that matches their order and diet requirements.
• Provide excellent customer service for all patients.
• Deliver and collect patient menus in a timely manner.
• Prepare cold/hot items and condiments for meal times.
• Adhere to the facility’s health and safety policies and procedures.
• Assist team members and management as needed to help the department operate efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Wage: $17/hour
• Full-time and part-time positions available
• Day/Evening/Night shifts available
• Background check, drug screen, and proof of employment eligibility required
• Location: Sumner Regional Medical Center
