Job summary

Journey is seeking a Dietary Aide in Fort Valley, GA to assist with meal preparation, tray assembly, and food delivery while maintaining sanitation and safety standards in a long-term care setting. You will collaborate with residents and facility staff, ensuring accurate dietary support and timely meals.

A high school diploma is required, with food service experience preferred, and compliance with state dietary/nursing home requirements is essential.

Responsibilities

• Food Preparation & Service: Assist with meal prep, tray assembly, and food delivery while following sanitation and safety standards.
• Equipment & Area Maintenance: Operate and maintain kitchen equipment, clean and sanitize food prep areas, and manage waste disposal.
• Inventory & Communication: Help store supplies, manage dietary tray cards, and maintain effective communication with residents, families, and facility staff.

Required Qualifications:
