Job summary

Exton Post Acute is seeking a Dietary Aide for a full-time role at the Exton, PA campus. You will assist in meal prep, plating, and service, ensuring meals meet dietary guidelines and safety standards. A positive dining experience for residents is supported by a collaborative dietary team.

The role emphasizes cleanliness, accuracy, and respectful interactions with residents. HS diploma preferred; prior food service experience is a plus, with benefits such as tuition reimbursement and health

Responsibilities for Dietary Aide:

• Assist in the kitchen with meal preparation, plating, and meal service to residents in a timely, safe, and respectful manner.

• Support the delivery of meals by ensuring residents receive appropriate dietary selections in accordance with prescribed nutritional guidelines.

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen, dining areas, equipment, and food service spaces in compliance with safety and infection control standards.

• Follow all dietary guidelines, internal procedures, and regulatory requirements related to food safety, nutrition, and resident care.

• Work collaboratively as a team player, contributing wherever needed to support meal service and kitchen operations.

• Provide courteous, respectful interactions with residents during meal service to promote a positive dining experience.

Qualifications for Dietary Aide:

• High school diploma preferred.

• Prior experience in food preparation or food service strongly preferred.

• Demonstrated knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of residents served.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining cleanliness, organization, and attention to detail.
