Pearl of Elk Grove Village is seeking a compassionate Dietary Aide to support residents with nutritious meals in a home-like setting. You will assist with meal setup, service, and post-meal cleanup while following safety guidelines.

The role emphasizes cleanliness, timely delivery of dishes, inventory awareness, and collaboration with kitchen staff to ensure high-quality dining experiences for residents. A high school diploma is required, and food service certification is a plus; prior dietary

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a dietary aide.
• Sanitation and safety knowledge to maintain a hygienic environment.
• Ability to prepare meals per instructions using kitchen equipment.

Responsibilities

• Set up tables and dining areas with precision, emphasizing cleanliness and order.
• Prepare meals under the guidance of a dietary manager or cook, ensuring adherence to instructions and safety standards.
• Deliver dishes and trays promptly to designated rooms and times.
• Assist in post-meal cleanup by clearing dining areas and collecting plates and utensils.
• Maintain hygiene by disposing of leftovers and taking out garbage.
• Keep food stations clean, wash dishes, cooking equipment, and silverware.
• Monitor ingredient stock levels and maintain inventory.
• Contribute to the upkeep of kitchen equipment and appliances.
