Complete Care at Whispering Woods is looking for dependable, energetic and caring Dietary Aides to join our Food Services team. If you enjoy working with seniors and helping provide nutritious meals in a warm, supportive environment, we'd love to meet you.

As a Dietary Aide, you'll play an important role in enhancing our residents' daily lives by ensuring meals are prepared, served, and delivered with care. This position supports the Food Services team and the care mission of the community.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous dietary aide, food service, restaurant, healthcare, nursing home, or rehabilitation experience is preferred.
• Positive attitude with excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable, organized, and committed to providing exceptional service.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Dietary Manager and Food Service Director with daily kitchen operations.
• Prepare and serve meals under the direction of the cook or Food Service Director.
• Deliver meal carts to resident units on schedule.
• Clean food preparation areas, dining areas, dishes, cookware, utensils, and equipment.
• Stock food and supplies while monitoring inventory levels.
• Dispose of food waste and maintain a clean, sanitary kitchen.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, infection control, and compliance standards.
• Adhere to all facility policies and federal, state, and local regulations.
