Job summary

Southeast Rehab is hiring a full-time dietary aide to join our dining team. Weekly pay at $16 an hour. No experience is necessary. On-the-job training provided. Full-time opening on 6a-2p.

Identify residents' dietary needs and preferences and assist with the menu process, updating meal tickets as needed. Provide prompt meal delivery and support sanitation and safety in dining areas.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, speak and understand English.
• Must follow oral and written communication.
• Must maintain sanitation, order and appearance of dining areas.
• Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition and enthusiasm when interacting with residents.
• Willingness to adopt new dietary practices.

Specific Requirements

• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language.

• Must be able to follow oral and written communication.

• Must maintain the care and use of supplies, equipment, etc., and maintain the appearance of the dining service areas; must perform regular inspections of dietary services areas for sanitation, order, safety and proper performance of assigned duties.

• Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition and enthusiasm as well as be willing to handle residents based on whatever maturity level they are currently functioning.

• Must possess the ability to seek out new methods and principles and be willing to incorporate them into existing dietary practices.

• Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public.
