Pikes Peak Post Acute in East Wenatchee, WA is seeking a part-time dietary aide to support daily kitchen operations. You will learn the food service routine quickly, set up meal trays, assist with serving meals, operate the dishwasher, and help keep the kitchen clean and sanitary.
The role reports to the Dining Services Director; requires a high school diploma or equivalent, ability to read procedures and recipes, and a food handlers certificate.
The dietary aide assignments are determined by the needs basis on the activity of the shift. He/she reports to the Cook and Dietary supervisor.

Full Wage Range: $17.50-$18.00 per hour

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to read technical procedures.
Ability to read and follow recipes.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and employees.
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.
Ability to solve practical problems.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Must obtain and maintain food handlers’ certificate.
The essential functions of this position require the following physical abilities: Standing and /or walking very frequently. Sitting occasionally. Reaching with hands and arms frequently, pushing/pulling very frequently. Talking and /or hearing very frequently. Tasting and /or smelling very frequently. Lifting up to 50 pounds frequently. Climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling occasionally. Close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception in vision: ability to adjust focus.

Pay: $17.50-$18.50 per hour depending on experience and education.
The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
