Job summary

Oakwood Community Living Center is seeking a Dietary Aide to join our compassionate team in Tennessee. You will read production orders, assemble trays, assist with food prep, and ensure accurate, well-presented meals for residents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Customer service focused.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Read production orders and diet cards to determine items for each tray.
• Prepare and assemble food trays with utensils, napkins, and condiments.
• Assist with food preparation including sandwiches, salads, soups, and beverages under the supervision of the cook.
• Prepare modified diets, including soft or liquid foods.
• Portion and plate meals according to diet specifications.
• Inspect trays for accuracy and quality before serving.
• Deliver trays to residents and assist in dining areas as needed.
• Collect and return dirty dishes to the kitchen.
• Properly store food and supplies.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, dining areas, and equipment.
• Dispose of trash and maintain sanitation standards.
• Record special food items served to residents.
• Other duties as assigned
