Bayshore Residence and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dependable and compassionate Dietary Aide to join our Dietary team. The Dietary Aide plays an important role in providing residents with nutritious, appealing meals while maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming dining environment.

Assist with meal and snack preparation according to established menus and dietary requirements
Prepare and portion food for residents, ensuring meals are served accurately and attractively
Deliver and serve meals and beverages to residents
Assist residents with meal service when needed
Follow resident-specific diets, allergies, food preferences, and special meal requirements
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen, dining areas, equipment, and work surfaces
Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and food service equipment
Stock and organize food and dietary supplies
Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and infection-control procedures
Complete assigned cleaning duties and maintain a safe work environment
Work cooperatively with cooks, dietary staff, nursing staff, and other members of the care team
Treat residents with dignity, respect, patience, and kindness
Perform other duties as assigned
Previous food service, dietary, restaurant, or healthcare experience preferred, but not required
Must be dependable, punctual, and willing to work as part of a team
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Strong customer service and communication skills
Must be able to safely perform the physical requirements of the position, including standing for extended periods, walking, bending, lifting, and carrying food service items
Must be willing to comply with all applicable health, safety, sanitation, and facility requirements
