StoryPoint is seeking a Dietary Aide to support resident meal services and maintain clean, sanitary kitchen areas. You will assist in food preparation, plate meals, and ensure portions meet dietary guidelines for regular and special diets.
You will work with kitchen staff, handle food transportation, stock stations, and follow safety and sanitation procedures. The role requires reliable communication, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to resident well-being in a team
The Dietary Aide performs a variety of food service functions in maintaining clean and sanitary conditions of food service areas, facilities, and equipment. Assists in food preparation and plates food according to dietary guidelines for regular and special diets.
This position entails standing for long periods of time. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to communicate effectively with others, sit, stand, walk and use hands to handle keyboard, telephone, paper, files, and other equipment and objects. The employee must be able to read, write, and speak fluent English. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms. This position requires the ability to review detailed documents and read computer screens. The employee will occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The employee may frequently bend, reach, grasp, and climb. The employee may basically squat and kneel. The work environment requires appropriate interaction with others. The noise level in the work environment is moderate. Occasional travel to different locations may be required.
