Job summary

The Pines At Davidson Inc. is seeking a part-time Dietary Aide to support high-end dining for residents in a premier continuing care community.

You will set up dining areas, assemble meals based on resident preferences and dietary orders, and ensure precise portioning and timely delivery of meals in a clean, upscale setting. Qualified candidates are high school graduates with healthcare experience and basic nutrition knowledge.

Qualifications

• Must have experience in a health care setting and knowledge of basic nutrition.
• Able to perform clerical duties and be precise in data calculations.

Responsibilities

• Set up kitchens/meal service carts and dining tables for service.
• Greet guests as they enter dining venues.
• Assemble meals for residents based on requests, preferences, allergies and diets.
• Prepare meal trays for residents dining in their rooms.
• Properly portion all items for service.
• Maintain and clean dining venues.
• Address guest requests and issues to ensure an exceptional experience.
• Stock pantries with nourishing items and service supplies.
• Complete documentation such as temperature logs and nourishment tracking.
• Attend department training as assigned.
