Job summary

Driscoll-Children in Corpus Christi, TX is seeking a dedicated dietary aide to support patient meal services in a hospital setting.

You will prepare foods for regular and therapeutic diets, assemble patient trays, deliver nourishments, and help maintain inventory on each patient floor. The role requires strict adherence to menus and safety policies and offers an opportunity to participate in in-services.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 months related experience or training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare special foods for regular and therapeutic diets as required by patient menus.
• Assemble prepared food on patient trays during trayline mealtimes.
• Deliver carts to patient floors as specified.
• Takes inventory of nourishment food items on each patient floor.
• Cleans refrigerators and replenishes beverages and foods as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
