Job summary

HHS is hiring for a Patient Ambassador in Coral Gables to support Kindred Hospital's dietary team. The role is part-time with day/evening/night shifts, focusing on accurate meal delivery, patient service, and menu handling.

Applicants must be 18+, maintain hygiene standards, and communicate in English. Culinary experience is preferred; background checks and eligibility screening are required. Benefit options are available.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must practice good personal hygiene and be neatly groomed in a uniform.
• Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment.
• Preferred: Culinary experience (cook, commercial kitchen, fast food, hotel operations, healthcare).

Responsibilities

• Ensure each patient receives the correct meal according to their order and diet requirements.
• Provide excellent customer service for all patients.
• Deliver and collect patient menus in a timely manner.
• Prepare cold and hot items and condiments for meal times.
• Adhere to health and safety policies and assist team to keep the department running smoothly.

Job Description

We’re looking for friendly, compassionate team players to join our culinary team!
As part of the dietary team, assist patients with menu selection and deliver their meals in a timely fashion. Provide excellent customer service to ensure every patient is satisfied with their meal.

• Wage: $15/hour

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged standing and walking continuously, frequent stooping, and bending and lifting up to 50 pounds
