Position Details

Location: The Grand Rehabilitation & Nursing at Rome

Type: Part-time

Pay Range: $15.70/hr - $17.70/hr

Schedule: 6:15am-2:15pm with every other weekend

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Dietary Aide to support our dietary department. Your responsibilities will include ensuring the smooth operation of food service, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting in meal preparation for residents.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Operate dish machine, clean dish room, wash pots, pans, and sort silverware.
  2. Prepare sandwiches and set up the tray line with condiments.
  3. Deliver food carts to units and organize resident tickets.
  4. Pour coffee, soups, and clean the coffee pot.
  5. Sweep, mop, and ensure cleanliness in dining areas, storerooms, and kitchen areas.
  6. Restock supplies, manage leftovers, and dispose of trash.
  7. Assist with other tasks as assigned by management.
Requirements
  1. High school diploma or equivalent.
  2. Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
  3. Experience in food service is a plus.
  4. Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills.
  5. Dependable transportation.
