The Dietary Aide is responsible for assisting in the preparation and service of food at Golden Hill. They ensure proper food handling practices in preparation, holding, service, and storage of food, and are responsible for the proper use, cleaning, sanitation, and maintenance of equipment and work areas. The Dietary Aide assists residents in fulfilling specific dietary requirements to promote their health and wellbeing. They support the Dietary Manager in planning, organizing, developing, and directing the overall operation of the Dietary Services Department, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, regulations, and facility policies, to provide quality food service and nutritional care.
Education: Must possess at least a high school diploma.
Experience: Previous experience as a Dietary Aide is preferred. Bonus experience includes training in cost control, food management, or diet therapy. Any combination of experience and training that provides the skills, knowledge, and abilities required for the role in a skilled nursing facility.
Must have reliable transportation.
