Crown Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Cortland, NY is seeking a Dietary Aide to support the dining program. You will prepare and serve meals, operate the dish area, and help maintain clean, safe kitchen environments while ensuring residents receive timely, appetizing meals.

This role offers mornings, days and evening shifts, full-time or part-time opportunities, competitive pay, and benefits; successful candidates show teamwork, reliability, and ability to stand and lift as required.

Qualifications

• Physical capability to perform tasks including lifting and standing for extended periods.
• Experience in food service is a plus.
• Teamwork: able to collaborate effectively with others.
• Reliable transportation is required.

Responsibilities

• Dish room operations: operate the dish machine, clean the dish room, and wash pots, pans, and sort silverware.
• Food preparation &Tray setup: prepare sandwiches and set up the tray line with condiments.
• Meal delivery: deliver food carts to units and organize resident tickets.
• Beverage & Soup service: pour coffee, soups, and clean the coffee pot.
• Maintain cleanliness: sweep, mop, and ensure cleanliness in dining areas, storerooms, and other kitchen areas.
• Restocking & Waste management: restock supplies, manage leftovers, and dispose of trash.
• Additional duties: assist with other tasks as assigned by management.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Dietary Aide to join our team! As a Dietary Aide, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food service department, preparing and serving meals, and maintaining a clean and safe environment for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dish room Operations: Operate the dish machine, clean the dish room, and wash pots, pans, and sort silverware.
