Position: Dietary Aide

Cherokee Regional Medical Center is seeking a dependable team player with excellent customer service skills.

Job Details

• Full-time, 40 hours/week, 8-hour shifts
• Every other weekend

Responsibilities (training provided)

• Set up and deliver patient trays according to diet orders and preferences
• Understand and implement a variety of special diets
• Note all dietary restrictions on patient menus
• Modify menus based on therapeutic diets
• Provide friendly service and communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and staff
• Follow work schedules and improve workflow under supervision
• Adhere to sanitation procedures and safety practices

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• Attention to detail, communication, and customer service skills
• Dependability
• Servsafe food handler certification (obtained upon hire if not already certified)
