Job summary

Chariton Specialty Care in Chariton, IA is hiring a part-time Dietary Aide to join our dietary team. You will assist with food service, meal delivery, and maintaining clean, sanitary areas while delivering friendly resident care.

The role supports a compassionate healthcare environment across a 60-bed skilled nursing community. Training in food safety and modified diets is provided, with opportunities for growth and benefits.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated skills in quantity food preparation and service.
• Willingness to complete training in Food, Safety, Sanitation and Modified Diets.
• Experience in a healthcare dietary setting a plus!
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for performing all duties related to food table service including serving hot and cold food portions to residents.
• Complete the set up and clearing of tables, as well as transporting food carts.
• Bring trays to rooms while delivering exceptional customer service.
• Cleaning duties while maintaining safe and sanitary work areas.

Dietary Aide
Schedule/Shifts Available: Part-time ; mix of days and evenings, weekends

What You’ll Do & Key Responsibilities:
