Job summary

Panora Specialty Care, a 46-bed long-term care skilled nursing community in Panora, IA, is now hiring Dietary Staff for casual/PRN shifts. Join Care Initiatives as a vital part of our dietary team and help provide meals with compassionate service to residents.

What you’ll do includes serving meals, setting up and clearing tables, delivering trays, and maintaining clean, sanitary work areas. Training in food safety is encouraged; healthcare dietary experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated skills in quantity food preparation and service.
• Willingness to complete training in Food, Safety, Sanitation and Modified Diets.
• Experience in a healthcare dietary setting a plus!
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for performing all duties related to food table service including serving hot and cold food portions to residents
• Complete the set up and clearing of tables, as well as transporting food carts
• Bring trays to rooms while delivering exceptional customer service
• Cleaning duties while maintaining safe and sanitary work areas
