Currently hiring Dietary Aides to provide food service to our residents, focusing on their individual needs during mealtimes. Dietary Aides collaborate with Cooks and the Dietary Manager to ensure residents' nutritional needs are met.

Responsibilities include:

1. Assist in the preparation and service of resident meals, including therapeutic and modified diets.
2. Ensure meals are appealing, nutritious, and appetizing.
3. Serve meals to residents on the tray line or in dining rooms.
4. Help with food storage following facility procedures and safe handling guidelines.
5. Maintain sanitation standards in the kitchen and dish areas.
6. Attend required staff in-services.
7. Clean dishes, utensils, and equipment according to sanitation standards.
8. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Current identification.
• Excellent personal hygiene.

Experience:

• Prior experience in long-term care or commercial restaurants preferred.
