Job summary

Caprock Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated Dietary Aide to support our nutrition and resident care teams. The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, food safety, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, ensuring high-quality care for residents.

Qualifications

• Experience in dietary aide or food service is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble trays and deliver meal carts to nursing or dining areas.
• Dispose of refuse following departmental policies.
• Deliver and rotate food and floor supplies per standards (FIFO).
• Follow menu and recipes to prepare meals safely and efficiently.
• Portion and serve meals as directed by recipes and instructions.
• Wash, sanitize, and store dishes and cooking equipment properly.

Your Impact as a Dietary Aide

In this role, you will:

• Assist with Meal Service: Assemble trays and deliver meal carts to nursing or dining areas
• Maintain Cleanliness: Dispose of refuse in accordance with departmental policies and procedures
• Manage Supplies: Deliver and rotate food and floor supplies according to standards (first in, first out)
• Prepare Foods: Follow menu and standardized recipes to prepare meals safely and efficiently
• Serve Meals: Portion and serve meals as directed by recipes and spreadsheet instructions
• Sanitize Equipment: Wash, sanitize, and store dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment properly
