Job summary

Heritage Hall Healthcare & Rehab Center in Blacksburg, VA is seeking a dedicated Food Server - Dietary Aide to help provide nutritious meals that support residents' healing and well-being. You will work with our dietary team to deliver meals that meet individual dietary needs and guidelines.

The ideal candidate has prior food service experience, some healthcare exposure, and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Qualifications

• Prior food service experience.
• Prior healthcare experience preferred.
• Ability to understand written and verbal instructions.
• Knowledge of dietary services practices and procedures.
• Knowledge of the laws, regulations, and guidelines governing dietary services in a long-term care facility.
• Ability to work every other weekend is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve nutritious meals for residents.
• Follow dietary restrictions and documentation.
• Maintain clean and sanitary food service areas.
