Job summary

Brunswick Health and Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated dietary team member to assist in food preparation and service in a skilled nursing setting. You will help provide comfort and connection through meals while following prescribed resident diets and safety standards.

The role offers a full-time schedule with shifts 5:00a-1:00p or 12:00p-8:00p and a wage of $16.00 per hour. We provide education support, benefits, and a family-like atmosphere to support your well-being.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in a high school program or have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must possess a working knowledge of the fundamentals of food safety and sanitation.
• Must meet and remain current with state specific requirements for food handler training.
• Previous Aide or Cook experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in food preparation and service while maintaining clean and sanitary conditions in the kitchen and dining areas as directed by the Food Service Director or Cook.
• Prepare food in accordance with prescribed resident diet specifications, community procedures, and food safety sanitation regulations.
• Follows all health, sanitary and infection control policies and maintains established standards of practice set forth by the community's administration and Dietary Policies and Procedures.

Job Summary:
