Job summary

George Washington Health & Rehabilitation in Alexandria, VA is seeking a dependable Dietary Aide to support residents’ nutritional needs and well-being. You will assist with meal preparation and service, maintain dining areas, and deliver trays as needed.

As part of the dietary team, you will follow safety and sanitation procedures, uphold high cleanliness standards, and provide friendly, respectful service to residents and families. Prior healthcare experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Previous dietary or food service experience is preferred but not required.
• Experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting is a plus.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Dependable, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to cleanliness and food safety.
• A positive attitude and commitment to providing excellent service.

Responsibilities
