Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a diet tech to support nutritional care and meal delivery for patients. The role requires an Associate Degree in Nutrition or progress toward a BS, plus clinical experience supporting patient care and food service.
You will menus, prepare and deliver meals per prescribed diets, document clinically, and provide nutrition education to patients. The job emphasizes safety, QA data collection, and collaboration with dietitians and kitchen staff.
Education/Experience Required: Associates Degree in Nutrition, 50% successful completion towards a BS in Nutrition, and/or 2 years clinical experience as a diet tech.
Experience Preferred: Prior patient contact and food service experience
Pay Range: $21.00 - $28.26
The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law. Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices, as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
