Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, is hiring a Diet Technician for Doctor's Hospital in Modesto, CA. Both part-time and full-time positions are available to support the nutrition team in an acute care setting.

NDTR certification is preferred. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition or related science and hospital experience is a plus. Pay ranges from $30 to $40 per hour, with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Credentialed as a Nutrition and Dietetics Technician, Registered (CDR), preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition or related Science, required
• One (1) year of hospital experience, preferred
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, EMR & diet office systems, and nutrient analysis programming

Responsibilities

• Assists the Dietitian with patient data collection, nutrition screening, and modified menu planning
• Assists patients in completing menu selections
• Follows all guidelines in the Diet Manual and Clinical Nutrition Policies & Procedures Manual
• Complies with regulatory standards including federal, state, and accrediting agencies; maintains patient confidentiality
• Trains and mentors patient services staff and interns as applicable
• Participates in patient satisfaction programs and Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement initiatives

Job Summary

We are seeking a Diet Technician (FT, PT, PRN) to join our Nutrition Team in an acute care medical center in City, State.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assists the Dietitian with patient data collection, nutrition screening, and modified menu planning

• Assists patients in completing menu selections

• Follows all guidelines as outlined within the Company Diet Manual and the Clinical Nutrition Policies & Procedures Manual

• Complies with all regulatory standards to include federal, state, and accrediting agencies, while adhering to facility confidentiality, HIPPA regulations, and patient rights policies

• Trains and mentor’s patient services staff and interns as applicable

• Participates in patient satisfaction programs, departmental meetings, and facility wide Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement programs

Qualifications :

• Credentialed as a Nutrition and Dietetics Technician, Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR), preferred

• Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition or related Science, required

• One (1) year of hospital experience, preferred

• Possess the necessary skills to effectively utilize Microsoft office applications, electronic medical record & diet office systems, and nutrient analysis programming
