REQUIREMENTS
Minimum
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
Preferred
  • Basic clerical and data entry experience
  • Customer Service or call center experience
JOB DUTIES
  1. Process diet orders and update patient information in Computrition Hospitality Suite accurately and promptly.
  2. Obtain patient menu selections for all meals and enter information into Computrition Hospitality Suite.
  3. Manage customer complaints effectively and refer to supervisor as needed, ensuring issues are resolved.
  4. Process, print, and distribute daily documents such as meal tallies, patient menus, nourishment labels, and tray tickets.
  5. Handle telephone calls professionally, utilizing proper etiquette.
  6. Ensure timely feeding of all patients, managing late trays and tray line efficiency.
  7. Verify the accuracy of all patient trays and communicate with nursing units for diet order clarifications.
  8. Manage special patient needs and communicate menu options and food preferences to patients.
  9. Assist in troubleshooting computer issues by contacting Help Desk or alerting the Manager.
  10. Contribute to departmental performance improvement by managing patient satisfaction surveys.
  11. Document meals served and file daily documents as needed.
  12. Maintain adequate supplies for the diet office by communicating needs to the Administrative Coordinator.
