Job Opening: Diet Clerk at Morrison Healthcare

We are hiring immediately for full-time DIET CLERK positions at Orlando Healthcare Bayfront Hospital, located at 701 Sixth Street South, Saint Petersburg, FL 33701. Online applications are accepted only.

Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 6:30 am to 3:30 pm. Additional details will be provided during the interview.

Job Summary

Under the supervision of the Patient Services Manager or Clinical Nutrition Manager, the Diet Clerk manages patient menus, data collection, and diet office functions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Distribute and collect menus.
2. Assist patients with menu selections in accordance with prescribed diets.
3. Offer menu alternatives based on allergies, sensitivities, or cultural preferences.
4. Plan and prepare regular and modified menus.
5. Prepare and distribute supplements, tube feedings, and enteral formulas accurately and timely.
6. Manage human/donor milk and infant formula as assigned.
7. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA and patient rights policies.
8. Comply with regulatory standards, including federal, state, and TJC.
9. Complete documentation, reports, and logs.
10. Follow infection control policies and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
11. Perform other duties as assigned.
