+ Location: Encompass Health Henderson - 10301 Jeffreys Street, Henderson, NV 89052. Note: online applications accepted only.

+ Requirement: Previous diet clerk experience preferred, but not required.

+ Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour

Job Summary

Under the supervision of the Patient Services Manager and/or Clinical Nutrition Manager, responsible for patient menu management, data collection, and diet office functions as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Distribute and collect menus.
2. Assist patients with menu selections in accordance with prescribed diets.
3. Offer menu alternatives respecting allergies, sensitivities, cultural, ethnic, and religious preferences.
4. Plan regular and modified menus based on current diet manuals.
5. Prepare and distribute supplements, tube feedings, and enteral formulas accurately and timely.
6. Manage human/donor milk and/or infant formula as assigned.
7. Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and patient rights policies.
8. Adhere to regulatory standards including federal, state, and TJC.
9. Complete documentation, reports, and logs.
10. Follow infection control policies and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
11. Perform other duties as assigned.
