Hourly Pay Range:

$18.31 - $25.63

The hourly pay rate is determined by the candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

• Position: Diet Clerk
• Location: Edward Hospital - Naperville, IL
• Type: Per Diem | Hours are determined by department needs
• Hours: Monday-Friday, shifts vary from 5AM - 7:30 PM with rotating weekends and holidays

Responsibilities:

• Operate the room service call center, answer patient calls for meal orders, and enter orders into the CBORD system for transmission to the room service line.
• Familiarity with all menu offerings, diet variations, and patient-specific ordered diets based on physician prescriptions.

Requirements:

• Certification: State of Illinois Food Handler Training Certificate (ANSI Accredited) required within 30 days of start.
• Preferred: High School Diploma or GED and at least one year of food service experience in a healthcare setting.
