This is a casual per-diem position located at our Scripps Corporate Dietary Call Center in 4S Ranch. Must be available to work weekends (both Saturday and Sunday) and evenings (11:00am-7:30pm and 3:30pm-7:45pm).

Our Diet Clerks provide administrative and clerical support for Food and Nutrition Services. Responsibilities include processing diet orders, assisting patients with menu selections, and distinguishing between food and medication allergies. They also maintain current diet orders and menus to ensure compliance with physician diet orders. Diet Clerks must be able to function effectively in a high-volume call center environment, serving as the liaison between Nursing and Food and Nutrition Services departments, handling patient complaints, food issues, and basic questions about meals and diets.
