Responsibilities

Under the direction of the dietitian, performs the necessary clinical support functions related to approving therapeutic menu selections and ensuring accuracy as well as appropriate temperatures of patient trays.

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience

• AA degree in Food Science/Nutrition preferred.
• One (1) year of healthcare experience working with modified diets preferred.

County Specific requirement.

• County Specific Food Handlers certification required upon hire and maintained current.

La Palma Intercommunity Hospital offers competitive compensation and a reasonable estimate for this role is $22.13 per hour. The exact starting compensation will be determined at the time of hiring, considering factors such as skillset, experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
