Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1-2 years in a health care related facility in a comparable position is preferred.
• BS in Nutrition or working toward a degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides nutritional care services to patients by assisting in the implementation of prescribed dietary regimens.
• Coordinates various aspects of the diet office with the patient tray service.
• Visits patients and families to obtain menu selections.
• Shift working varies; day shifts and availability on some weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
• Answers phones in a timely and professional manner and provides excellent customer service.
• Prints meal tickets and coordinates service for patients' meals.
