Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• 1+ years’ experience working on heavy-duty trucks and equipment.
• 1+ years DOT inspection experience required.
• Must provide own basic tools.
• Related mechanical certifications preferred (not required).
• Ability to pass a background, drug, and physical test on hire.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Health and Safety is the top priority by following all safety policies and procedures.
• Move company equipment safely around the yard as needed.
• Assist drivers with addressing outstanding vehicle issues.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks and inspections on company vehicles and equipment.
• Carry out routine maintenance such as oil changes, battery checks, and lubrication of equipment, vehicles, and machinery.
• Complete daily checklists as required.
• Ensure equipment is properly parked and secured per permit and DOT requirements.
• Maintain the facility through housekeeping duties.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
