Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; vocational training preferred; CDL preparation is a plus.
• 1–2 years in commercial tractor/trailer maintenance (minimum 1 year).
• Preferred: A degree in Diesel Mechanics.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine preventive maintenance and inspections in line with FMCSA guidelines.
• Diagnose and complete unscheduled repairs with minimal supervision.
• Record all work on work orders and inspection forms, ensuring parts are charged to the correct unit.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work bay.
• Perform minor body work.
• Assist with training for Level 1 technicians.
• Support other tasks as assigned by management.
