North American Bulk Transport in the Bear, DE area is seeking a skilled Diesel Truck and Trailer Mechanic to maintain, diagnose, and repair diesel-powered trucks and equipment.

Responsibilities include routine maintenance, inspections, diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues, using diagnostic tools, performing DOT inspections, and collaborating with drivers to keep fleets road-ready.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of diesel engine systems, transmissions, and hydraulics.
• Experience using diagnostic tools and software.
• Ability to lift heavy parts and work in various conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.

Responsabilidades

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on diesel trucks, including oil changes, tire repairs, and brake diagnostics and repairs.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues and complete necessary repairs.
• Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot and repair engine, transmission, and exhaust system problems.
• Conduct DOT inspections and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Replace or repair faulty components such as fuel systems, brakes, suspension, and cooling systems.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed.
• Work collaboratively with drivers and fleet managers to ensure trucks are road-ready.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Diagnose and repair bulk unloading equipment.
• Follow safety rules and policies.
