Job summary

Miller Truck Leasing, part of Miller Transportation Group, is seeking an experienced diesel technician for our Leesport, PA shop. You will service Class 1–8 trucks, diagnose engine codes, and perform braking, steering, and transmission work.

Ideal candidates will bring fleet or heavy equipment mechanic experience, CDL if possible, hand tools, and a willingness to learn. Schedule is Monday–Friday 7:00 AM–3:30 PM; we offer paid holidays, benefits, a 401(k) match, and training.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a fleet mechanic, diesel mechanic, or heavy equipment mechanic.
• Experience diagnosing, repairing and maintaining Class 1-7 diesel tractors.
• Valid CDL or ability to acquire one with trainer assistance.
• Hand tools required.
• Experience with Refrigeration Units is desirable but not required.
• Monday–Friday 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM schedule.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventative maintenance and general reconditioning of equipment on Class 1 through Class 8 vehicles.
• Diagnose, document, and repair engine fault codes using company-supplied OEM software.
• Repair/Replace brakes, steering components, suspension, and perform alignments.
• Replace clutches and transmissions.
