Rush Truck Centers in Idaho is seeking a skilled Rush Technician to join our dealership network and service trucks and components with a focus on quality and safety. You will read job orders, diagnose and repair, overhaul engines, and replace parts as needed to meet performance specifications.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and 5+ years of Class 7/8 technician experience; CDL and Medical Card are preferred but not required.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5 years’ experience as a Class 7 & 8 technician.
• CDL and Medical Card preferred but not required.
• Peterbilt/International/Ford/Hino/Isuzu/Cummins and ASE certs preferred.

Aufgaben

• Provide technical service to vehicles and equipment.
• Perform general and detailed repair of all trucks, engines and components.
• Overhaul gas or diesel engines.
• Install injectors, pistons, liners, cam shafts, cylinder heads, bearings, oil pans, clutches and more.
• Read job order, observe vehicle operation to determine malfunction and plan work.
• Ensure safety by inspecting guards, bolts and devices and adjust as needed.
• Lubricate parts and drive vehicle to verify conformance to specs.
• Attend training and stay current with factory bulletins.
• Develop relationships with customers to boost satisfaction.
