Rush Truck Centers in the United States seeks a skilled Rush Technician to join our team at the Salt Lake City area. The role focuses on diagnosing, repairing, and overhauling diesel and gasoline engines, components, and subsystems, with emphasis on safety and quality workmanship.

Qualified candidates have 5 years of experience as Class 7/8 technicians, a valid CDL and Medical card preferred, and relevant ASE or OEM certifications.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 5 years’ experience as a Class 7 & 8 technician in a dealership or related truck service facility.
• CDL and Medical card as required by FMVSS are preferred but not required.
• Peterbilt, International, Ford, Hino, Isuzu, Cummins, ASE certifications are preferred and rewarded.

Responsabilidades

• Provide technical service to vehicles and equipment.
• Perform general and detailed repair of all trucks, engines and components.
• Overhaul gas or diesel engines.
• Install injectors, pistons, liners, cam shafts, cylinder heads, bearings, and other parts.
• Read job orders and assess vehicle operation to plan work procedures.
• Inspect guards, bolts, and safety devices and adjust as needed.
• Lubricate moving parts and drive repaired vehicle to verify specifications.
• Attend training classes and stay updated with factory bulletins.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers to improve satisfaction.
