Vanguard Truck Centers in Clarksville, TN is seeking Diesel Technicians to diagnose, repair and service trucks and equipment in our full-service centers. You will work with the parts team, document repairs and help ensure customer satisfaction on every job.

Qualifications

• Looking for hard working diesel technicians willing to put in the time and effort to learn the diesel technician trade.
• Online and instructor led training provided.
• Major tooling provided in house.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses cause of malfunction and performs repair on diesel Trucks or equipment.
• Communicates with parts department to obtain needed parts.
• Saves and tags parts of the job if under warranty or if requested by the customer.
• Examines assigned vehicle to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended.
• Communicates with service advisor immediately if additional work is needed or if repairs cannot be completed within the promised time.
• Diesel Technician will documents all work performed and recommended on the repair order.
• Road tests vehicles when required or refers to the test technician.
