Vanguard Truck Centers is seeking skilled Diesel Technicians in Commerce, GA. You will diagnose and repair diesel trucks, coordinate with parts and service teams, and document all work on repair orders.

The role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and ongoing training to stay up-to-date with manufacturer standards. Qualifications include a high school diploma or technical training, basic mechanical aptitude, 1–2 years of experience, and a valid driver’s license with the ability to obtain a CDL.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or vocational/technical school preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude with 1–2 years experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license with ability to obtain CDL.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs per repair order with efficiency and accuracy following dealership and factory standards.
• Diagnose causes of malfunctions and repair diesel trucks or equipment.
• Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts and with service advisor on additional work.
• Document all work performed on the repair order and safety and quality checks.
• Supervise apprentices as assigned and stay current with manufacturer training and bulletins.
