Stevens Transport, Inc. in Dallas, TX, seeks a Diesel Technician to perform preventative maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on trucks from Peterbilt, Kenworth and Freightliner. The role supports Paragon Leasing at Stevens Transport’s large Dallas facility.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of general heavy-duty diesel mechanic experience.
• Working knowledge of telematics systems and diagnostic software.
• Valid Class C driver's license.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Cummins or Detroit Certifications (preferred).
• Commercial Inspection Certification (preferred).

Responsabilités

• Perform scheduled and non-routine repairs to company/contractor fleet to meet DOT standards.
• Diesel and gas engine diagnostics and repair.
• Suspension and steering systems diagnostics and repair.
• Air and hydraulic braking systems diagnostics and repair.
• Electrical and lighting diagnostics and repair.
• Preventive maintenance repairs.
• Maintaining a clean and neat shop.
• Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
