Transwest in Lauderdale, MN is seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to join our team. This full-time hourly position fixes diesel trucks, performs OEM-standard repairs, and maintains safety and quality throughout the process.

We offer competitive pay from $20 to $58 per hour, comprehensive benefits, paid time off, 401(k) with company match, and opportunities for advancement. You must have a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and the tools to do the job.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and MVR in good standing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Multitasking skills and ability to work any shift.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing passenger automobiles; diesel truck repair knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs following OEM standards.
• Adhere to safety guidelines.
• Communicate openly with management and team.
• Diagnose and repair vehicle malfunctions.
• Cross-collaborate with parts department to obtain parts.
• Road test vehicles for quality assessment.
• Maintain a neat and orderly work area.
• Record time punches and summarize repairs.
• Dispose of hazardous waste per regulations.
