Job summary

Fab Tex, a Heavy Duty Truck Dealer, is seeking an Automotive Mechanic who is open to training as a Diesel Truck Mechanic. You must have your own tools and be prepared for a fast-paced workshop environment.

The role offers a starting rate of $32 per hour with overtime at time and a half. Training for diesel mechanics is provided, and there are opportunities for advancement, paid holidays, vacation, and a steady schedule Mon-Fri.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years experience as an Automotive Mechanic is required.
• Current, valid driver’s license is mandatory.
• Must be physically capable of standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 25 lbs.
• Good vision and hearing are necessary to perform tasks effectively.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on heavy‑duty trucks.
