FAB-TEX SERVICES CORP. is seeking a skilled TRUCK Mechanic to diagnose and repair vehicles in a busy repair shop. You will also maintain shop equipment and foster a welcoming environment for customers.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills to explain issues clearly and provide guidance. A focus on professionalism and teamwork is essential in this fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Diesel engine repair experience preferred (5+ years).
• Mechanical knowledge with 5 years preferred.
• Must provide own tools to perform maintenance, repair and diagnostics.
• CDL preferred, but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair vehicles coming into the shop.
• Carry out routine vehicle maintenance tasks such as tire rotations, oil changes, and brake pad replacements.
• Conduct in-depth vehicle inspections of all systems, including engine, transmission, and brakes.
• Create repair estimates and timelines and convey information to customers in an easy-to-understand manner.
• Maintain accurate repair shop records and paperwork.
• Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
